Soldering and Brazing

Re-attach body parts that fell off, as well as repair things like keys that break

Soldering is typically $15-20 per soft solder joint (add $5-10 for silver plating), and brazing starts at $30 per braze joint

Mouthpiece Repair

I can do many repairs on both brass and woodwind mouthpieces. This includes repairing chips and cracks, flattening tables, adjusting tip opening and length, and refinishing brass mouthpieces in silver or rose gold plating. Prices are on a case-by-case basis

Crack Repair

Repair cracks in wood bodied instruments. This is done with either pins or carbon fiber banding depending on the location and severity of the crack. I typically charge about $10 per pin installed, or $45/hour for banding. Banding usually requires the joint to be disassembled and some posts to be removed.

Custom Repairs As Negotiated

I do a variety of custom repairs as needed as well such as remaking keys and retrofitting parts

3D Printing

I have added some 3D printing capabilities to my shop to do some prototyping or making obsolete parts. This also helps me have repair parts that aren't feasible to stock many of, and just manufacture them as needed

Pricing starts at $5, and goes up from there. This charge will account for any design time required for the parts in question.
